Welcome to my personal and business consultancy web site, a consultancy focusing on business and personal development, mentoring and building successful teams. I enjoy business immensely: after all, it’s more fun when we are making money! Am I right?
But money is not the primary motivator, as I believe a greater and nobler purpose is to help make a difference in the lives of others - whether young executives striving to develop their careers or business owners trying to build their enterprises during difficult times. Creativity is often at the heart of success and one of the things I enjoy most is applying innovative thinking to meet a challenge.
My motivation in creating this web site, after encouragement from my friends and colleagues, is simply to provide a forum by which I can share some knowledge, experience, perspectives, insights and tips that I have acquired over a varied, enjoyable a successful career spanning numerous sectors and professions, as well as in personal life. Along the way, I have had the good fortune to work alongside and learn from some outstanding business people, politicians, community leaders and people from all walks of life
Being born in New Zealand to immigrant Greek parents in the early 1950s, I grew up speaking only one language - Greek - as my parents scarcely knew any English at the time. So, when I started at primary school, I did not understand a single word of English. Yet within a few years, I skipped a class on the basis of my English language skills!
This demonstrated to me at a very early age something that my beloved late mother would often repeat to me: "You can achieve anything you want, if you want it badly enough." It is a lesson that has served me well in both the past and the present.
Life has been good to me and it is a privilege to also be able to assist others to achieve success in whatever fields they wish to pursue. I hope you stop here a while, peruse the material, enjoy what you read and find it helpful. I look forward to your feedback, questions or enquiries.
